Tata is on a roll at the Auto Expo 2023. It has revealed several new products including CNG and EVs. Yesterday, the Harrier EV, Sierra EV and the Curvv ICE grabbed all the headlines. But the Punch i-CNG is another showstopper from the brand. Its not like this is the first CNG car in this segment. However, Tata has solved one of the biggest problems with CNG cars. Design

Tata Punch i-CNG

The overall design of the Punch i-CNG is the same as the ICE model. We have the eyebrow DRL upfront with headlamps placed below them. Other than that, the car gets some i-CNG badging on the exterior. With the i-CNG, Tata is using a twin-cylinder setup that are placed below the boot space. This allows the Punch i-CNG to have a decent amount of storage space a major weakenss of CNG cars. Tata has placed the tyre below the boot like some 7-seater SUVs.
