The majority of the mass market automakers have brought their compact SUV into the market where features and technology are leading the charge. This being a salient aspect, many manufacturers have already launched facelifts and also new generations of their compact SUVs. We are talking about the new generation Brezza, Venue facelift and other popular cars that have got updated. However, there’s one such car which has failed to grab attention lately. Is it also the time for it to get a facelift? Certainly. We are talking about the Mahindra XUV300 and the facelift details about it.

XUV300 facelift – Need of time!

XUV300 facelift

Mahindra has loaded up the car with plenty of features like dual zone AC, sunroof, front parking sensors and many other nifty touches. However, if we compare it with the competition, the rivals stand on the higher side with infused tech and modern-day features. Then, if we compare the interiors of the XUV300, it feels dated due to the 7.0-inch touchscreen system and basic interiors. Therefore, Mahindra could plan an XUV300 facelift with a refreshed interior layout, a new ADRENOX infotainment system and many features in the car.

What could change?

XUV300 facelift

Mahindra has based the XUV300 facelift on the SSanYongg Tivoli. This car is sold in the European markets and gets plenty of features like a 10.25-inch infotainment system, ADAS and many more technologically advanced features. However, there are wee chances of these features to come in the Indian spec model. Why do you ask? Because Mahindra no longer owns SSanYongg so any adaptations couldn’t seem to happen. Therefore, we can see a plethora of inhouse additional features like ambient lighting, premium sound system, 360 degree camera, etc could be added.

If we talk about exterior changes, we can see a tweaked set of bumpers and some other design changes which could turn out refreshing for the new XUV300. These exterior tweaks could give the facelift a new identity and even more road presence. Under the hood, the engine options are unlikely to receive any change. So, we could expect the same engine options with the new 1.2-litre TurboSport powertrain and the regular petrol and diesel engine options.
