India’s largest automaker is set to bring a crossover version of their premium hatchback Baleno. This new car is expected to boast an SUV-centric design with high ground clearance, roof rails, tapering roofline, body cladding and other SUV characteristics. It could make this new crossover stand out from the regular car. If we talk about interiors, the car is touted to get a longer feature list which could include a sunroof, wireless charging pad, more practical storage places, and more. Powering this car is likely to be a 1.0-litre Booster Jet petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

5-door Jimny

One of the most highly anticipated launches of 2023, the Maruti Jimny is soon to uncover at Auto Expo 2023. India is set to receive the 5-door iteration of the car for enhanced space and practicality. The overall length of the car would be increased by the standard 3-door for encasing the rear doors. This would help in easy agress and ingress in the rear bench seat setup. If we talk about the feature list, it is expected to get all the bells and whistles like a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic AC, all power windows, a multi-information display and other essential stuff. Powering the Jimny is likely to be the 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine that makes 103bhp and 138Nm of torque. Moreover, we would also see the ‘AllGripPro’ 4×4 technology. Starting prices are expected to fall around the Rs 10 lakh mark (ex-showroom).
