New Tata Harrier to still miss 3 things!
Tata’s SUV lineup is on a magical rise in the market. Its cars like the Punch and Nexon are making new records in sales. However, a lot of credit for their success also goes to the Harrier. With the Harrier, Tata showed its capabilities to the customers. Now, Tata is working on the facelifted model. This model is expected to get a new design and several new features. All-wheel drive
It was quite an ambitious hope that Tata could add all-wheel drive capabilities in the Harrier. However, it is something people have been asking for a long time. Tata has clearly stated many times that it is not working on 4×4 or all-wheel drive. But there are rumours that the Harrier facelift would come with an off-road-tuned suspension. This would help the Harrier to do decent enough off-roading.
Tata Harrier new model – Petrol engine
Tata has been long working on a petrol engine option for the Harrier and Safari. This was rumoured to be a 1.5-litre petrol engine. It was rumoured to make around 150bhp of power. So isn’t the facelift the best time to introduce it? If torque figures are also good it would be a good option to consider.
Electronic tailgate
Cars are getting better and better in the convenience factor. Manufacturers are adding features that make the daily life of consumers easy. One such feature is the electronic tailgate. It can be a lifesaver if you are handling a lot of luggage. In this segment, the MG Hector comes with a powered tailgate. But we don’t think the Harrier will be getting the electronic tailgate.
