Tata Motors has enjoyed the early movers in the EV segment. The brand quickly worked its way up to introducing three electric vehicles the Nexon, the Tiago and the Tigor. Tata’s EVs have garnered praise for their budget-friendly nature and cost-effectiveness. Tata knows it has to keep on bringing new EVs. It has plans to launch three new EVs in 2023. In today’s article, let’s talk about 3 new Tata EVs.

Altroz EV

Tata will be looking to launch the Altroz EV next. It will be the first premium EV hatchback in the country. Tata showcased the car at the Auto Expo of 2020, so we know what it could look like. The Altroz EV could get some blue highlighting and the teal blue colour. What about its range figures? The Altroz EV could get a 26kWh battery pack with IP67 water and dustproof. This battery is expected to give it a real-world range of around 180-200km. Tata could launch the Altroz EV at the Auto Expo of 2023.

Harrier

Of late, rumours have surfaced online about the Harrier EV. This Harrier is codenamed the ‘Eturna’. Reports suggest that Tata is already testing the car in its factory, with the car already in its ‘Beta’ testing phase. The same report stated the Harrier EV could be launched sometime in 2023. The Harrier EV will be based on the ‘Omega-arc’, which apparently Tata modified when it acquired it from Land Rover. Tata will have to at least give it a range of 400 to 500km to make it feasible. Tata could unveil the car at the Auto Expo of 2023. 

New Tata EVs – Punch

The Punch is Tata’s latest SUV offering. Since its launch, it has been raking in good sales. So Tata could bring its electrified version to increase sales further. This Punch will get blue highlights and the new teal blue colour. We could also see EV badging. Tata could also give it some new features. What about the specifications? It could come with a 30kWh battery pack giving it a real-world range of 230km. Tata could launch the Punch by the end of 2023.
