EVs are finding traction in the market. Even expensive EVs like EV6 are also finding buyers. Hyundai has also launched the IONIQ 5 at a very attractive pricing. So to compete with the EV6, Renault could bring the Megane e-tech. It will come through the CBU route if launched in India. So it will be expensive, but Renault could justify the pricing by giving a good range and features.
New Renault cars – Koleos
Renault has some very impressive cars in its global lineup. One such car is the Koleos, which has been spotted testing in India. So there is a chance that Renault could bring the Koleos. It will come through the Completely Knocked Down (CKD) route. Pricing-wise, it could start from Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with cars like the Hyundai Tucson and Jeep Compass.
New Duster
The Duster was Renault’s best-selling car in India as it established the C-SUV segment in India, which is currently the most popular segment in the country. According to reports, Renault will be directly launching the 3rd-generation Duster in India. For this, Renault with Nissan is investing nearly 500$ million to Indianize the CMF-B platform. The new generation would thus be a promising car with several features. The new Duster is expected to be launched sometime in 2024 or 2025.
New Renault cars – Jogger
The seven-seater segment in India has seen a lot of activity in the last few months. So Renault could also enter this segment. What car can Renault launch? Renault could bring the Jogger it sells in Europe to India. This car could also be based on the Indianized version of the CMF-B platform. It could be launched after the new-generation Duster in India.
