Hyundai as a manufacturer has matured a lot in the Indian market. It has become a trendsetter by offering unique cars. Last year it launched the Hyundai N Line cars, which are based on the performance-focused series of N cars. However, Hyundai should also bring the N cars to India. In today’s article, let’s talk about Hyundai N Cars we need in India.

The first N car Hyundai could bring to India could be the i20N. Hyundai’s first N Line car was the i20, and the i20N could be another blockbuster product. Globally, the i20 N comes with a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine capable of producing 201bhp and 275Nm of torque. Hyundai has also tuned the suspension and steering wheel to attract maximum performance. Hyundai could bring limited units of the  i20N through the CBU route.

i30N

The i30 is the bigger version of the i20. It is a full-size hatchback and is the most premium hatchback from the brand. The i30N comes with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine capable of producing 247bhp and 353Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed MT and an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The i30N would be a delight to drive on Indian roads.

Outside India, Hyundai also sells an ICE version of the Kona. This Kona comes with an N variant. Like the i30N, the Kona N comes with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine capable of producing 277bhp and 392nm of torque. The output can temporarily reach up to 287bhp when in the N shift mode.

Will they come to India?

Hyundai has said that it intends to bring N cars to India in the future. However, it has never mentioned a fixed timeline for the launches. So when could Hyundai bring N cars? Hyundai could bring them when the Market matures to more performance-oriented cars.
