Royal Enfield is the most aspirational bike manufacturer in the Indian market. Over the years, it has built its image in the cruiser category. However, the brand has not shied away from building adventure bikes and sportier bikes like the Continental GT. The Continental GT is not the best-selling bike for the brand, but it shows its ambitions. Now, Royal Enfield is building a covered version of the Continental GT. In today’s article, let’s talk about this faired Royal Enfield.

Faired Royal Enfield- Details

Faired Royal Enfield

Earlier this year, the Royal Enfield Continental GT with fairing was spotted testing. The spied bike had a small front fairing with mounting points for a full set of the fairing. So why does Royal Enfield need to bring a full-faired bike? The Continental GT is quite popular in the aftermarket shops, so Royal Enfield could be looking to give a factory-fitted option.

The spied bike also comes with different-shaped mirrors. Overall, the bike looks largely similar to the current Continental GT. However, there could be one change, as the test bike sported twin rear shock absorbers. But, these could be just for the test-bike and not carried over to the final product.
