The Toyota Fortuner rules the big SUV segment in our market. Several SUVs have tried to dethrone the Fortuner, but with limited success. The Ford Endeavour did come close, but we know what happened with it. So can any SUV stop the dominance of the Fortuner? There is one SUV that could do that, the Nissan X-Trail. Last month Nissan unveiled the X-trail in India. In today’s article, let’s talk about this feature-loaded Fortuner rival.

Nissan showcased the 4th-generation X-Trail in India. This 4th-generation X-Trail is based on the new CMF-C platform (Common Module Factory) which is co-developed by Nissan, Renault and Mitsubishi. Coming back to design, the X-Trail is quite an aggressive-looking car. Overall the car gets those big SUV characteristics with the signature V-motion front grille, body cladding etc.
