The car has been spotted testing several times. According to our sources, Mahindra is expected to unveil the Thar 5-door by the end of 2023.

The Bolero is one of the most successful SUV nameplates in the Indian market. So to cash in on this popularity, Mahindra rebadged the TUV300 as the Bolero Neo. The rebadging has helped the Bolero Neo to rake in good sales. Now Mahindra is working on bringing the 9-seater version of the Bolero Neo called the Bolero Neo Plus. So what will change? The TUV300 Plus gets a tweaked front design and some minor design changes. Engine-wise, this SUV will come with a 2.2-litre diesel engine with a manual gearbox. The Bolero Neo Plus is expected to be launched by the end of this year or early next year. 

XUV500

The XUV500 was discontinued after the launch of the XUV700. So why will Mahindra bring it back with the success of the XUV700? Mahindra will bring back the XUV500 nameplate for a C-segment SUV to compete with the Creta. Mahindra has already hinted at the possibility of this development. So what could the XUV500 get? It could take design inspiration from the XUV700. Mahindra would also look to load it with premium interiors and modern features. What about specifications? The XUV500 could come with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. For more details, check the article at the end of this paragraph. What about the launch? Mahindra could launch the XUV500 sometime in 2024 or 2025.
