5 features Maruti Grand Vitara still needs!

Maruti Grand Vitara is on the verge of being a success even before its launch. Maruti has already garnered around 53,000 bookings for the Grand Vitara till date. It has got great potential against its rivals such as Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, and more. This C-segment of SUVs has seen great combat in terms of features, engines and technology. Now, talking about the Grand Vitara, it finds positives in its hybrid & AWD powertrain but still falls behind in some factors. What are those? Today we tell you 5 features the Maruti Grand Vitara still misses out on.

Electronic parking brake

The electronic parking brake has started making a way in mass-market cars. Earlier, it was only available in luxury cars but now, we can see it in many. It is a convenient feature that reduces manually operating the lever and rather reduces the whole operation to a flick of a button. Rivals like Hyundai Creta & MG Astor come with this feature.

Rain sensing wipers

Rain-sensing wipers are another handy feature to have in the car. It reduces human interference in the controls and automatically starts the wiper when it senses water on the windscreen. It should have been made available as even cars below this segment have this feature.

Maruti Grand Vitara features – Rear sun shades

Factory-fitted sunshades is a great feature to have. Now with the restrictions of tints, it has become hard to limit the sun rays inside. We have sunshades and nets available as aftermarket and original accessories but nothing is as perfect as OEM fitment. Hyundai Creta & Kia Seltos get this feature.

Front parking sensors

This is a very important feature when it comes to parking a big car, something that the Grand Vitara is. It becomes a handy feature when you want to park your car in tight locations. Talking about its competition, the Kia Seltos gets it and Maruti should have given this feature to this SUV as well.

Maruti Grand Vitara features – Electric driver seat

Hyundai Creta & Kia Seltos offer 8-step electric adjustments for the driver’s seat, whereas Astor offers a 6-step electric adjustments for the driver’s seat. The Grand Vitara, however gets manual adjustments.
