Mahindra Bolero facelift coming soon!
Mahindra as a brand is popular for its SUVs. Since last year, the brand is witnessing huge spike in its sales due to its newer SUVs. Along with bringing new, powerful SUVs, Mahindra has also refreshed itself with new logo and better showrooms. A car that has seen it all over the years is the Bolero. The Bolero, however is due for a generation update. BUT Mahindra wants to give it a facelift first before bringing the new-generation car. How can we confirm this? Via spy shots of the Bolero facelift that have surfaced online. In today’s article let’s talk about the 2022 Mahindra Bolero facelift.
What was spied?
The spy shots were posted on the Instagram page of MotorCraze. What do the spy shots reveal? The rear of the car has been spied, which is covered in mud, probably due to rain or rigorous testing. Nevertheless, we can spot the new Mahindra logo on the rear-mounted tyre. Also, there is some camouflage on the side step and rear bumper. However, we do not see any major changes done to the SUV.
What could Mahindra change?
Earlier this year, Mahindra updated the Bolero with some additional safety features. Mahindra had to do this as per the new safety regulations. So in this facelift, we don’t expect any more safety features to be added. Mahindra could just do some cosmetic changes and new colour options. According to reports, it could get a dual-tone finish in this update. Any interior changes? Mahindra could give it new cushioning, better buttons and a new infotainment system.
Mahindra Bolero facelift 2022 – Launch timeline
Mahindra is yet to confirm anything about the Bolero facelift, but Mahindra is set to be updating all its cars with the new logo. The XUV300 will also be getting the same treatment. What about pricing? Currently, the Bolero starts from Rs 11.01 lakh and goes to Rs 12.33 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Considering the minimal changes, we can expect a price hike of Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 depending upon variants.
