The current selling car feels dated when it comes to its competition. Other brands are offering more modern tech in the interiors. To tackle this, Mahindra may introduce new features in the interior to increase the premium appeal. It could feature an updated infotainment system with AdrenoX, a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, rear AC vents, etc. Functions like start-stop technology could be added to increase the fuel economy.

The biggest update that this facelift is touted to come with is a new turbo-petrol engine. A new 1.2-litre mStallion engine that generates 128bhp & 230Nm of torque could be an addition to the engine options. This engine will make it the most powerful petrol car in its segment. Currently, the car is available with two engine options – a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit and a 1.5-litre diesel unit. Mahindra could keep the existing petrol engine option along with this new 1.2-litre unit, however, only time will confirm this. What could be the gearbox options? Mahindra could keep the existing gearbox options; a six-speed manual and AMT for petrol as well as diesel engines.
