Royal Enfield has for long been dominating most segments that it has its products in. The bikes from this iconic brand are well-appreciated for their initial torque. Also, the brand has a reputable image, meaning making sales for them is not an issue. Royal Enfield is now planning to bring even more bikes that will further strengthen its position in the market. Looking at the brand’s history, these upcoming bikes are expected to dominate the segments that they will sit in. But, what will they offer? This is exactly what this article is all about. Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is the next bike which will see a launch on 7th August (expected). This bike is expected to be the most affordable offering from the brand once it launches. It will share its mechanicals with the Meteor 350, meaning it will come based on the J platform and will draw power from a 349.34cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 20bhp & 27Nm of torque. It will get a round single-pod instrument cluster, single-piece seat, short exhaust, front & rear disc brakes, etc.
Bullet has been an iconic nameplate in the brand’s arsenal. The Bullet’s retro-look is appreciated by many, this is the reason why Royal Enfield does not tamper with it much. RE is woking on the new-generation Bullet which will receive its mechanical bits from its other 350cc siblings. The new one will come based on the J platform and will draw power from the 349.34cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 20bhp & 27Nm of torque. The new-gen bike will retain its signature elements like pilot lamps, chunky fuel tank, headlamp with chrome strip, etc. The new-gen bike is set to come with some minor changes here and there that will put it in-line with the other updates bikes from the brand.
Royal Enfield is ready to expand its lineup of 650cc bikes in the country. For that, one of its planned bikes is bobber-styled which will come powered by the 648cc air–and–oil–cooled engine capable of producing 47bhp & 52Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. This bike has already been spotted quite a few times on testing. It will come with asymmetrical twin-pod cluster, split seat, USD forks, dual rear shockers, etc.
Another 650cc machine from Royal Enfield would be the Super Meteor 650. How would it be different from the Shotgun 650? This will be a premium cruiser with rear-swept handlebars, twin exhausts, split seats, forward set footpegs, etc. From the spy shots, the bike definitely looks chunky. It will be powered by the same 650cc engine that powers other 650cc bikes.
The brand is also working on two new 450cc bikes. One will be a ADV whereas the other is expected to be a scrambler. These Royal Enfield bikes could be the perfect upgrade for existing Himalayan and Scram owners. The bikes will come powered by a 450cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine expected to make around 40bhp & 35Nm of torque. This engine could come mated to a six-speed gearbox. These bikes will be more capable when compared to the existing ones offered by the brand.
