Hyundai is a brand that has enjoyed a successful run in our country for many years. The major reason for its success has been its feature-loaded cars that offer a variety of options for the buyers to choose from. Last year, Hyundai added the first N Line car to its stable (i20 N Line). N Line cars, unlike the performance-focused N cars, get a few cosmetic updates along with very few mechanical changes. The i20 N Line has received decent response and Hyundai will be looking to bring more N Line cars. So, what can Hyundai add more to its N Line portfolio? In today’s article, let’s find out.

Hyundai Venue N Line

The Venue recently got a significant update in the form of a facelift. In this facelift, Hyundai has done a major design overhaul with the addition of new features. The facelifted Venue is almost certain to get an N Line variant in the upcoming months. Earlier this year, the Venue N Line was spotted testing in South Korea. According to leaked documents, the Venue N Line is expected to come in two variants: N6 & N8. It will get subtle design changes over the normal Venue which could include a different grille, new alloy wheels, bumpers and dual exhausts. Mechanically, it will come with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired to the 7-speed DCT gearbox. Hyundai might retune the suspension like the i20 N Line and a mean sounding exhaust to it. This variant will help it take on the Kia Sonet’s GT Line variants.

Creta N Line

Following its smaller sibling could be the Creta N Line. Last month, Hyundai launched the Creta N Line in South America. The Creta N Line launched in South America is more in line with Creta sold in India and not the facelifted model launched in Indonesia. Contrary to popular beliefs, it doesn’t get red accents on the exterior. It gets a meshed grille with N Line badging and a new air dam. Other changes include new alloy wheels and a new tailgate design with dual exhausts. What about the interiors? The Creta N Line gets prominent N Line badging on the seats with red stitching. We also see the N Line-themed gear lever and steering wheel. What about specifications? In India, we can expect the 1.4-litre turbo petrol paired to the DCT gearbox. Hyundai could tune the engine and suspension for more performance. We however expect the facelift model to get the N Line treatment.

Verna N Line

Unlike the other two cars on the list, the Verna N Line has not been talked about much. The Verna is soon getting a generational update, and Hyundai might introduce an N Line variant with it too. What can the Verna N Line get? It can get the N Line-inspired grille with sporty bumpers. Other changes could include a rear spoiler and new alloy wheels. In the interiors, we could see red stitching and N Line-themed gear lever and steering wheel. For a clear idea regarding specifications, we will have to wait for the launch of the new generation Verna as we expect Hyundai to fiddle with the mechanical bits. Could this be the first N Line car in India to come with a mild hybrid engine? Only time will tell.
