Hyundai Creta is a car that has created its own brand identity in India. The reason behind its success has been how proactive Hyundai has been in updating it. So what is the next update for Creta? It could very well be the Creta N Line. Last month, Hyundai launched the Creta N-Line in South American markets. So will it come to India? Let’s find out.

India launch plans

Last year, Hyundai brought the N Line to India with the i20 N Line. Now Hyundai is looking to expand its N Line cars in India. Hyundai’s next N Line could be the new Venue. How do we know that? There are strong rumours, and recently its variant lineup was leaked. After that, Hyundai might bring the Creta N Line. SO we can expect the Creta N Line in the next six to eight months.

The Creta N Line launched in South America is not similar to the one launched in Indonesia. It is more in line with the Creta sold in India. We see a meshed grille with the N Line badging. In the side profile, we see dual-tone and new alloy wheels. What about the rear, it now gets an extended spoiler. Other than that, we have a new bumper and tail lamp design.

The Creta N Line sold in South American markets comes with a 1.0-litre turbo and 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine. What can we expect in India? We expect the 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine on the Creta N Line. This engine is capable of producing 138bhp and 242Nm of torque. Transmission options could include only the 7-DCT option.
