Maruti Suzuki has released a new teaser video of their upcoming compact SUV Vitara Brezza.

 The SUV is ready to be unveiled at the Auto Expo next month and will mark the entry of Maruti in the compact SUV space.

The Vitara Brezza  is based on the Swift platform and is inspired form XA Alpha concept showcased at the Auto Expo 2012 by Maruti Suzuki. The design language of the Vitara Brezza follows that of the new Suzuki Vitara.It has a different looking  front-end with projector headlamps and LED DRLs and a thick chrome grille with vertical slats . The bumper has turn indicators and fog lamps embedded into it.

Features in the Vitara Brezza include ABS with EBD and dual front airbags as standard. It also will come with reverse parking sensors and camera, a touchscreen SmartPlay infotainment system, keyless entry with push button start, three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and also automatic climate control.

The Vitara Brezza will come with a 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine and a 1.3-litre diesel engine, same at the Ciaz and Ertiga. The 1.3-litre diesel engine, sourced from Fiat, will produce 90bhp of power and will also most likely get the SHVS (hybrid) technology like Ciaz and Ertiga.
