Hyundai Carens rival interior teased before launch!
The Kia Carens has found great success in the affordable MPV segment. It is giving a good fight to segment leaders like the Maruti Ertiga and XL6. So what’s the next big thing in this segment? The Hyundai Stargazer is expected to make an entry to tackle new as well as established players. Last week, Hyundai started teasing its exterior in Indonesia ahead of the 2022 GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show) in August. Today, the brand has given us some glimpses of the interiors of the Stargazer. In today’s article, we will discuss the teased interiors of the Hyundai Stargazer as well as what we know about this MPV so far.
Hyundai Stargazer interior – What’s the new teaser?
The new teaser shows the interior of the Stargazer. Straightaway, we get to see a floating touchscreen infotainment system in the middle. It seems to be an 8.0-inch unit and looks similar to what Kia offers with Sonet and Seltos. What else can we spot? We can see captain seats in the second row. We expect the interiors to get leather upholstery to enhance the premium quotient of this MPV. Other than that, we can expect automatic climate control, wireless phone connectivity, a fully-digital instrument cluster, etc. There are rumours that Hyundai might add ADAS functionality on the Stargazer. Hyundai is already known for loading its cars with premium features so expecting that from the brand is a no-brainer.
What else do we know?
Last week, Hyundai showed the exterior glimpses of the Stargazer. The teaser revealed that Stargazer has taken design inspiration from the premium Staria MPV. So what is so special? It has a futuristic design with a DRL strip on the bonnet. We can see a glossy grille with headlamps adjacent to the grille. The side profile gets a curvy design, something that separates it from the Carens. At the rear, we have taillamps running through the entire width, just like the front.

So coming to the important part, will it come to India? Hyundai has not confirmed anything about it in India, nor have we seen the car testing in India. But seeing the response for the Kia Carens, Hyundai could bring the Stargazer to India. Auto Expo 2023 could be the perfect time for Hyundai to unveil it in India.
