Urban Cruiser HyRyder
The HyRyder is one of the most anticipated SUVs from Toyota. The brand has already confirmed that it will be unveiling this SUV on 1st August. To those unaware, the HyRyder will be a mid-size SUV that will help Toyota take on the cars ranging from Hyundai Creta to Tata Harrier. Mechanically, the Urban Cruiser HyRyder will share its part with Maruti’s sister car codenamed YFG. What will be the engine options? The HyRyder is said to come with a 1.5-litre mild hybrid and a 1.5-litre strong hybrid setup. It is also said to offer eAWD with the strong hybrid system. According to some rumours, the strong hybrid system will come from Toyota and will be mated to Maruti’s 1.5-litre K10C engine that we see on the Ertiga and XL6. However, only confirmed details will reveal what both brands are planning.
Upcoming Toyota cars 2022 – New Urban Cruiser
The Brezza is getting a major update this year Maruti has already confirmed the launch of the new Brezza on 30th June. So Toyota’s badge-engineered Urban Cruiser should also follow it soon. Like the Brezza, it will get a new front design. But major changes would be in the interiors and features. We expect Toyota to launch the new Urban Cruiser sometime in July.
New Innova Hycross
The most surprising car that is getting an update is the Innova. And this will be a big update. So what’s so surprising? The new Innova will be switching from a ladder-on-frame chassis to a monocoque. It will be smaller than the current generation but will have more space due to the new chassis. Another thing to note is it will not come with a diesel engine, but rather a strong hybrid petrol engine. So when will Toyota launch it? Reportedly, it will come sometime after September.

The Land Cruiser is one of the most iconic Toyota SUVs. Globally, Toyota launched it in 2021, and since then, people have been waiting for it in India. According to reports, Toyota might launch it in India in September. So what’s so special about the LC300? The car is geared towards a luxurious experience. Also, it comes with a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 engine producing a whopping 700Nm of torque.
