Hyundai has upped the design game with the Venue facelift. For this facelift, Hyundai has given the Venue substantial changes. So what are the new changes? Straight off the bat, we have a significantly revised front look. It gets a pearl-shaped grille with connected LED DRLs. Hyundai has retained the headlamp structure, but now we have a new air dam. The side profile is identical except the new skid plate and alloy wheels. At the rear, new inverted L-shaped taillamps run through the entire boot.

Hyundai has retained the same engine options on the Venue facelift. So it will continue with its 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol capable of producing 82bhp & 114Nm of torque. The second engine is the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol producing 118bhp & 172Nm of torque. Diesel duties are handled by a 1.5-litre unit capable of producing 99bhp & 240Nm of torque. Has Hyundai given anything new? Yes, it has added drive modes in the Venue facelift, though it hasn’t revealed which engines will get these drive modes.

Connected car technology

The Hyundai Venue was the first car to introduce connected car technology in India. Now with the facelift, Hyundai is going one step further. The Venue facelift will now get 60+ connected car features with over-the-air (OTA) updates.

Comfort

Comfort is an important point that is often neglected. More so in this compact SUV where more preference is given to front seats. So what is Hyundai doing differently? The Venue will become the first car in this segment to get a two-step recline feature for the 2nd-row seats. Other than this, the Venue already gets 2nd-row AC vents, armrest and charging points.

New Hyundai Venue – Features
