Hyundai Creta N Line spotted for the first time

Hyundai has enjoyed a long bout of stronghold on the Indian market. The last few years have been really good for the brand. The major reason behind this growth has been the success of Creta. So what’s next for Creta? It seems that Hyundai is giving the Creta an N Line update to cash in on its popularity. We today have the first spy shots of the Creta N Line that was spotted without any major camouflage. In this article, let’s discuss these spy shots.

What was spotted?

The Creta N Line images were posted on the ‘Shorts_car’ Instagram page. It is the first spotting of the Creta N Line without any major camouflage as mentioned above. This comes just a week after Hyundai started teasing the Creta N Line for South American markets. So what’s new on the N Line? We see a new grille with N Line badging. The front bumper is also taller with a blacked-out air dam design. Headlamp structures are similar to the current Creta. On the sides, it doesn’t get any changes barring the new alloy wheel design. At the rear, we have a different bumper with dual exhausts that have become synonymous with the N Line.  

Expected specifications

The Creta N Line sold in South America comes with 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engines. According to sources, the Creta N Line in South America will sport the 2.0-litre engine. What will it get in India? If Hyundai brings the Creta N Line to India, it would sport the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine. This engine will be paired to the seven-speed DCT gearbox.

Last year, Hyundai brought the first N Line car to India, the i20 N Line. There are rumours that Hyundai’s next N Line car in India will be the Venue facelift. So after that, Hyundai might bring the Creta N Line to India. Even a Creta facelift is expected to be pending from the brand that brings with it the ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design language inspired by the new Tucson.
