The first offering from BMW and TVS is the G 310R roadster motorcycle will be unveiled in India on the 2nd February 2016.

The event is expected to take place in Noida just prior to the Auto Expo 2016. This is very exciting news for each and every motorcycles enthusiast. However it is important to note that this is only an unveiling and not the official launch of the motorcycle. The new motorcycle will be revealed to a select group at the Buddh International Circuit.

The G310R is powered by an innovative liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with two overhead camshafts, backward-tilted cylinder and intake tract positioned at the front. This backward facing engine produces 34bhp and 28Nm of torque. The chassis is made of rigid tubular steel frame, upside-down fork and long swinging arm for a high degree of ride stability, precise steering response and sound handling. ABS will be offered as part of the standard equipment.

BMW could price the G 310 R a bit higher than competition, which will still be under INR 4.5 lakh (on-road Mumbai).
