Mahindra Scorpio-N spied again before launch
Scorpio continues to hog all the headlines in the auto industry. Last week, Mahindra revealed the exterior design of the Scorpio-N (the market name for the new-gem Scorpio). Mahindra also revealed the launch date, which is the 27th of June. But Mahindra hasn’t yet teased the interiors of the Scorpio-N. Today, we have obtained some new spy shots of the Scorpio-N interiors. In today’s article, we will talk about the spied Scorpio-N and what can be deciphered from these images.
Scorpio-N interiors – New details
These new spy shots show us the interiors of the Scorpio-N. We can see the leatherette brown seats. What else can we spot? In these spy shots, we can see the tumbled second-row seats. This doesn’t seem to be the captain seat variant. We see a 60:40 split in the second row to access the third row. In the third row, we also see front-facing brown seats. Other details we can spot include the big infotainment system and a multi-function steering wheel. Though we already know the exterior of the Scorpio-N, we can even see the regular-sized sunroof. This spied variant spots blacked-out alloy wheels. Could this be a top-of-the-line special Anniversary variant? What do you guys think?
What we know so far
Mahindra completely revealed the design in its last teaser. At the front, we have an aggressive look with Mahindra’s slated grille. It gets LED projector headlamps with slanting LED DRLs placed below. Then we have LED fog lamps surrounded by LED DRLs. The side profile comes with a clean look with wheel arches. At the rear, we have Volvo-esque tail lamps.
Expected powertrains
Mahindra has not yet revealed the exact specifications of the Scorpio-N. For now, Mahindra has confirmed that it will be bringing both petrol and diesel engine options. Both these engines will come with manual and automatic gearbox options. Additionally, the new Scorpio-N will also get 4×4 capabilities.
