The Pulsar is one of the most loved nameplate in the two-wheeler market here. The Pulsar 150 used to be the entry-level bike earlier but now, the Pulsar 125 is the entry-level bike. The design would be more modern than before. It is expected that the new Pulsar might get a similar design from their recently launched Pulsar N250. It could get single projector headlamps with DRL above the headlights. But now, the new Pulsar might get a single handlebar rather than the clip ones that we see in the current generation bike.

New Pulsar 150 could get an instrument cluster similar to the new Pulsar N250. So, it could be a semi-digital unit. The first could be an analogue tachometer, and the second could be a digital display that would show information like speedometer, fuel level indicator, distance to empty, real-time mileage, gear position indicator, clock, trip metres and odometer.

There might not be any major update in the engine department. Bajaj updated the engine of Pulsar 150 for new BS6 emission norms. So, the new Pulsar 150 might get the same 149.5cc air-cooled petrol engine with some revised power figures. The current generation Pulsar 150 makes the power figures of 13.8 bhp & 13.2Nm of torque.

The current generation Pulsar 150 costs up to Rs 1.10 lakhs (ex-showroom). The new generation Pulsar 150 might be priced Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 costlier than the current generation. So, the new generation might be priced somewhere between Rs 1.15 lakhs to Rs 1.25 lakhs (ex-showroom).
