Ola Scooter achieves UNBELIEVABLE range! CRAZY!

Ola has been in the news for all the right and wrong reasons. It has received criticism for its poor fit & finish and software bugs. The reputation was further damaged when an Ola scooter caught fire in Pune. Even with all these issues, Bhavish Aggarwal continued to keep a positive mindset with tweets highlighting the positive experiences. Today, one Ola customer has been able to extract 200km+ range from his Ola S1 Pro. In today’s article, we will talk about how someone was able to extract this range from his Ola electric scooter.

What is the new tweet?

Bhavish Aggarwal is quite active on his social handles, asking people to share their experiences with the Ola scooter and the range that they are able to extract. Now he has retweeted a tweet from Karthik Br, who achieved a range of 202km on a single charge. Bhavish has promised to give this customer a free Gerua-coloured Ola S1 Pro for this one-of-a-kind feat.

This comes soon after another series of tweets in which someone had extracted a 190km range on a single charge. While retweeting that particular tweet, Bhavish had put out his wish of seeing someone cross the 200km mark. However, he did not know that one user would be able to achieve this so soon after his tweet.

Ola Scooter range – MoveOS 2.0 update

The MoveOS 2.0 update seems to be playing a major role in the increased range figures. The MoveOS update has added a new ‘ECO’ mode. In ‘ECO’ mode, the speed will be restricted to 45kmph, but the range will be close to 170km. This mode will be beneficial for people using the scooter for city commute. Customers getting 200km mode might have extracted the maximum possible range from this mode. Other MoveOS features include cruise control, music playback, hill hold, display themes, acceleration sounds, navigation, Bluetooth key and many such cool features. However, MoveOS 2.0 has added five features viz. cruise control, maps, music playback, ECO mode and lock/unlock via Bluetooth key.
