Well, who hasn’t heard about the Creta in India. It is one of those SUVs that accelerated the SUV craze in our country. A lot of credit goes to Hyundai for how it continues to exceed expectations with the Creta. The next chapter in Creta’s glorious journey will be the rumoured facelift it is said to get by the end of this year or someone in the initial phase of next year. With this facelift, Creta is expected to shake the market. In today’s article, we will discuss about the Creta facelift for India.

Refreshed design

The current design of the Creta is quite a hit and miss. So Hyundai has employed its ‘Parametric Dynamics’ design language this time. The main highlight of this design is the jewel-shaped DRLs that seamlessly integrate into the grille. Then we have the headlamps placed on the bumper with a more rectangular design. Hyundai has not tweaked the side profile. At the rear, we have new taillamps and a tailgate design. We expect to see the same changes for the Indian facelift as well.

Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)

ADAS is a feature that is quickly becoming something that users want in their cars. So Hyundai seems to have heard people’s opinion, and the facelifted Creta launched in Indonesia does come with ADAS. As a product, Creta needs ADAS to take on the XUV700 and Astor when it comes to India. In ADAS, it gets features like blind-spot collision, adaptive cruise control, lane following assist and forward collision avoidance.

The amount of features Creta comes with makes it hard for Hyundai to add more features. Still, Hyundai has added a new digital instrument cluster similar to the Alcazar. So now it gets different animations according to the drive modes. Apart from this, Creta could see features like multi-colour ambient lighting and 360-degree camera being added to it.
