Car launches happening in the next 3 months
The year 2021 was a big boon for manufacturers as it was the first year after the pandemic. Carmakers got the opportunity to overturn their losses and bring in some new cars for buyers. We saw some hot launches like the XUV700, Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, etc. This year again, carmakers are ready with some more exciting launches in the coming months. The first 5 months saw important launches like new Maruti Baleno, new Maruti Ertiga, Jeep Meridian, etc. Now, there are some more launches in the upcoming months. With most upcoming cars spotted testing and also some already unveiled, the excitement is already hyped. From Maruti and Toyota
Maruti and Toyota are working together to bring in a lot of shared products. From Maruti, we will get to see the much-awaited new-generation Brezza very soon. Post that, we expect the new-generation Alto to come as the trial production is touted to start sometime next month. Talking about Toyota, the new generation Urban Cruiser might also roll out based on the new Brezza.
From Hyundai and Kia
Hyundai and Kia are sister companies and are very well known for their feature-rich cars. From Hyundai, we expect to see the Venue facelift coming next month. From Mahindra
Mahindra has in recent times established an image of launching feature-rich, rugged SUVs. Mahindra XUV700 is one of the hottest products in the market even today which was launched last year. For 2022, Mahindra has finalised the new-generation Scorpio. The Scorpio will be launching on 27th June. Upcoming car launches – From Volkswagen
Volkswagen has already unveiled their mid-size sedan, the Virtus. This car shares its mechanical and most technical bits from the Skoda Slavia which is already on sale in India. The Virtus will be launched in June.
Upcoming car launches – From Citroen
Citroen is a relatively new entrant in India. Currently, they have only one car on sale which is the C5 Aircross. This year, they are going to enter the premium hatchback segment with their new car, the Citroen C3. The C3 will come powered by a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine and will come based on the brand’s CMP-A platform.

can you please confirm if XUV500 is coming? i am looking for mid size SUV meaning i have only 2 options KIA SELTOS and Hyundai CRETA. Please let me know does it make sense to wait for XUV500?
