Mahindra KUV100 launched for INR 4.86 lakhs (on-road)

Mahindra has launched its micro SUV, KUV100 at INR 4.86 lakhs (on-road) for the petrol version and INR 5.75 lakhs (on-road) for the diesel version. The KUV100 is a micro-SUV that kickstarts a new segment in the car market.

Positioned as a combination of the appeal of an SUV and convenience of a hatchback, the KUV100 aims at filling a void and attract customers who search for these virtues in a car.

The KUV100 comes with the mFalcon 1.

2 litre engine petrol engine producing 82bhp of power. It also comes with a 1.2-litre diesel engine that churns out 77bhp of power.

The engines are a product of joint development of Mahindra and Ssanyong and is derived from the Tivoli SUV.

The tall proportion makes it stand out and is taller and wider than the Maruti Swift.  It has a long travel suspension and high approach and departure angles, typical of an SUV.

The KUV 100 is the most fuel efficient diesel SUV in the country with a FE of 25.

32 Km/l. The petrol has a FE of 18.15km/l.

The KUV100 meets all safety regulations and is ready for the 2917 regulations as well.

All variants come with ABS as standard fitment.

Mahindra has made the KUV100 on account of the fact that many hatchback buyers aspire for an SUV and this product exactly meets this demand.
