First compact SUV with ADAS coming soon!

SUV! Everybody wants an SUV, irrespective of the size, the engine power, the seating capacity, the safety. Now, most brands have a portfolio filled with SUVs. Hyundai is one such brand. Hyundai is planning to increase the competition by adding new SUVs to its lineup. Most of them will be updates to exciting ones. The brand will soon be bringing new features for its to-be-updated compact SUV. Hyundai Venue facelift might be the first compact SUV to get the ADAS system. ADAS

The ADAS means Advanced Driver Assistance System. In India, currently only Mahindra XUV700 and the MG Astor get the ADAS system under price bracket of Rs 30 lakhs. The Hyundai Venue might soon join the league to get the ADAS technology. It also would be the first Hyundai car in India to get this technology.

New features 

The interior of the Venue facelift might be completely updated. It might get a new 10.25-inch infotainment system and an all-digital MID, just like the i20. Also, it might get additional features in its Bluelink connected car technology. The main highlights are expected to be BOSE music system, ambient lighting, ADAS and new sharper exterior design.

Hyundai Venue Facelift ADAS – New Gearbox 

The Hyundai Venue is available in petrol, turbo-petrol, and diesel options. The transmission offered with these engines are six-speed manual, seven-speed DCT, and an iMT as well. But diesel engine is only available in manual transmission. So, in the facelift, we can expect an automatic option for the diesel variants as well.

Hyundai Venue Facelift ADAS – Price and Conclusion

We expect that the new Venue facelift to be Rs 50,000 to Rs 70,000 lakh costlier than the existing car. In the market, it would compete with cars like the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger. It will also be competing with the new-generation Maruti Brezza, given it launches before the Venue.
