Features have in recent times become a priority of a majority of buyers. The Mahindra XUV700 has shaken up the market with its long list of features. The biggest talking point out of all is ADAS. Currently, only the Mahindra XUV700 and the MG Astor get ADAS capabilities in the affordable segment. Most car companies have taken a note of this and are working on bringing this feature to their cars soon. In this article, we have mentioned upcoming SUVs with ADAS in India.
Hyundai Venue facelift
The Hyundai Venue is one of the feature-loaded SUVs in its segment. It might be the first car from Hyundai to get ADAS. Also, it could be the first compact SUV as well to come with ADAS. Along with ADAS, the Venue facelift might also get new features like a 360-degree parking camera, ventilated seats, heads-up display, new Blue Link features, a big touchscreen infotainment system, a fully-digital instrument cluster, etc.
Hyundai Creta Facelift
Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular SUVs in the market as of today. The Creta will soon be receiving a facelift. ADAS would be a major highlight of the Creta facelift as well. Along with that, it might also get a fully digital instrument cluster and multi-colour ambient lights in the interior. Apart from these, the Creta will come with a completely new design, inspired by the new-generation Tucson which is available in the global market and is awaiting an India launch.
New generation Hyundai Tucson
The Hyundai Tucson is a mid-size SUV that sits above the Creta. The Tucson will also be receiving a generation update after a very long time in India. The new-generation car is mostly expected to come as a seven-seater rather than a five-seater. Along with ADAS, a big infotainment system, premium interiors, new Blue Link features, etc. could be some of the new additions.
Upcoming SUVs with ADAS – MG Hector Facelift
The MG Hector was first launched in India in 2019. The car was last updated in 2021. We expect the Hector to be updated again, however this time with a major focus on features. We expect it to get MG AI Personal Assistant, improved infotainment system, all-digital MID, and level two ADAS technology.
Upcoming SUVs with ADAS – Tata Harrier / Safari Facelift
Harrier and Safari stand as flagships for Tata in India. Both cars are built on the same platform, which is derived from the Land Rover D8’s platform. Both cars are touted to be updated very soon. In the facelift, some features like a big infotainment system, a new petrol engine, and ADAS features are expected to be added. With the addition of ADAS, the Safari might give even tougher competition to the XUV700.
