Mahindra KUV100 fully revealed ahead of launch

Mahindra is all set to launch its first vehicle in the compact SUV space the KUV100 on the 15th January 2016.

But ahead of its launch, a Youtube user caught hold of one of these cars at a Mahindra workshop and took that as an opportunity to snap it all around.

He in fact was able to take a full length video and posted it online.

The KUV100 in the video is likely the top-end K8 variant given the presence of alloy wheels, chrome highlights for the foglights and rear reflectors, chrome elements on the grille, and a rear wiper/washer.

Inside, the KUV100 features a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, an integrated music system, three rotary controls for the HVAC and the bench-type seating up front. According to reports, Mahindra will provide a lap belt for the front center passenger.

All variants of the KUV100 will get ABS, while dual front airbags can be chosen as an option even on the base variants.

A total of four variants will be available: K2, K4, K6 and K8.

The KUV100 will be powered by Mahindra’s new mFalcon family of petrol and diesel engines. The petrol unit, G80, is a 1.2-liter three-cylinder motor capable of 82 bhp and 114 Nm of torque, whereas the D75 diesel, also a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine produces 77 bhp and 190 Nm of torque.

A 5-speed manual gearbox will drive the front wheels of the KUV100.
