It’s no secret that Skoda had to invest a lot of effort and money to revive itself in India. We are already seeing the benefits of these investments as Skoda recorded its highest monthly sales in March this year. Skoda will now be looking to continue this momentum by launching more cars in the upcoming months. In today’s article, we will see three new Skoda cars coming next.

The sub-four-metre SUV space is currently the fastest-growing segment in India. Skoda will be entering this space under its ‘Project 2.5’ strategy. This car will be based on the MQB A0 IN platform like the Kushaq. It is also expected to share most of its parts and features with the Kushaq. Skoda has confirmed that this SUV is in its early stages of development.

Skoda will start its EV journey in India with the Enyaq electric SUV. Skoda will bring the Enyaq through the Completely Knocked down (CKD) route. For starters, the Enyaq is based on the Volkswagen MEB platform. It is a sister model to the Volkswagen ID.4. Dimension-wise, the Enyaq is similar to cars like the Safari and XuV700. It remains to be seen which battery and motor options Skoda brings to India.

Three-row SUV

Skoda is also looking to enter the affordable three-row SUV space considering its rising popularity. The three-row SUV will compete with cars like the Kia Carens, Hyundai Alcazar, etc. Like other newer Skoda cars, it will most likely be based on the MQB A0 IN platform. Other things about this three-row SUV are still unknown.
