Tata Nexon is the highest-selling compact SUV in India today. This title was earlier being claimed by the Maruti Vitara Brezza. The Vitara Brezza is also a safe compact SUV in its segment but the sales of this car dropped down because of its lack of features. The Brezza did lack in terms of features when compared to other feature-rich SUVs. But now, the Vitara Brezza is finally set to receive a generation update. Here, we will discuss whether Nexon buyers should wait for new Vitara Brezza.

Looks

The new-generation Maruti Brezza will be a good-looking compact SUV.  It will continue to get all-LED headlamps, however the headlamps have been revamped to give the Brezza a fresh appeal. The overall dimensions would be very similar to the current generation. Sunroof will be a highlight since this will be the first Maruti car to get this feature. Even the tail lamps will be a new unit that will give the Brezza a sharper exterior look.

Interior and Features 

We can expect a complete change in the Interior. The interior will be updated with many add-on features. The dashboard will be finished differently. It will get a 9.0-inch Suzuki SmartPlay Pro Plus infotainment system inside with Suzuki Smart Connect. 360-degree parking camera will be another highlight here.

The new-generation Brezza will be built on Maruti Suzuki’s HEARTECT platform. The major change here could be the addition of a much powerful hybrid system. This will allow the Vitara Brezza to offer impressive range figures when compared to the competition.

The new generation Brezza is expected to start somewhere around Rs 8 lakhs (ex-showroom). This segment is already very crowded. People in India have now started considering safety ratings as one of their priorities along with the features while buying a new car. The Brezza is already a safe car with four-star safety rating from GNCAP. Also, the new one would be loaded with many modern-age features. So, Tata Nexon buyers should definitely wait for the new-generation Brezza.
