Production-ready Jeep Meridian SPOTTED
The seven-seater market has seen a lot of activity in the last year. Kia recently launched the Carens heating the competition even more. Another manufacturer confirmed to bring a seven-seater is Jeep. Jeep has already launched this 7-seater version outside India. Jeep has already started easing this new 7-seater as the Meridian. Now we have spotted a production-ready Jeep Meridian testing. In today’s article, we will see this spied Jeep Meridian.
What was spotted?
We have got spy shots of a heavily camouflaged car. The spy shots were sent to us by one of our readers, Anish Gokhale. The car was spotted in Pune. It is easy to figure out this is the Meridian from the overall dimensions. In the spy shots, we can see the front design with LED headlamps. In the side profile, we can see the blacked-out alloy wheels. At the rear, it gets LED tail lights like the Grand Wagoneer. From the images, it seems to be a production-ready version of the Meridian.
What else is expected?
In the interiors, it is expected to get a dashboard layout similar to the facelifted Jeep Compass. The Meridian will most likely come with a 2.0-litre diesel engine. Jeep might give it a mild-hybrid setup. Features-wise it is expected to come with a lot of comfort features. It will get features like a 10.25-inch infotainment system, ventilated front seats, Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), electronic parking brake and much more.
Jeep Meridian expected launch and pricing
Jeep recently posted a product video of the Meridian. Also, considering these production-ready spy shots, we can expect a launch in the upcoming months. The pricing of the Jeep Meridian is expected to start from Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).
