We had earlier exclusively revealed that Hero MotoCorp will be launching a new 110cc motorcycle and the same has now been spied testing and seems to be a production ready version.

The bike will be using the same 110cc engine which does duty in the recently launched Maestro Edge and Duet scooters. The engine develops 9bhp of power and 9Nm of torque. This will be the first bike to be launched without Honda technology, as this engine is indigenously made by Hero.

The highlight of this bike is expected to be its fuel efficiency which is rumored to be around 100km/l, something that can be a big attraction in its segment. It will also feature an engine start/stop function which will help deriving high fuel efficiency.

The new bike will have a new fuel tank, new headlamp and a new taillamp and the likes. Disc brakes might be offered as an option too. Hero is getting very aggressive it its approach and wants to retain its No.1 position in motorcycles and also grow bigger. With a large sales & service network, the company will be looking at making most of this new launch, which is expected soon. Hero will be showcasing the bike at the Auto Expo 2016, next month.
