2017 Chevrolet Trialblazer – SPIED

The 2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer has been spied testing in Brazil and is expected to be launched by end of this year. The Trailblazer has been an important brand for General Motors and has been in production since 2000. The current generation Trailblazer was launched in 2012 and made its way into India in 2015.

The 2017 Trailblazer is expected to come with exterior changes to the front and rear. It will get a new bonnet, new elongated headlamps that will be similar to the Onix hatchback.

In addition, the headlamps will also feature LED DRLs (daytime running lights). The SUV will also get new fenders and a new bumper. A new front grille will also feature in this update and will have a slim top portion that will be in tune with the new generation Chevrolet vehicles.

At the rear it will have a new fender, a new bumper and also revised tail lamps. The new Trailblazer will also get the MYLink-II multimedia system.

There will be no change to the powertrain though and it will continue to have the 2.

8-litre Duramax engine that produces 197bhp of power and also the same six-speed automatic transmission.

In India, the Trailblazer sells via the CBU route and the next-gen will likely make it to the country only by 2017. This year General Motors will be launching the Spin MPV, Spin Activ SUV and the Prisma sedan in India. The Talegaon facility of the company is being expanded and will manufacture the new models being planned for the year.
