As part of the model year 2016, Royal Enfield may introduce new colours to their range of motorcycles. These include the Classic 350, Classic 500, Bullet Electra 350 and Bullet Standard 500.

The leaked presentation slides detail the changes which are to be introduced in these four models. The 2016 Bullet Electra will come in a new Meridian Blue colour and is currently available in Black, Silver and Red. The 2016 Classic 350 would be offered in a new Chestnut Red colour while the current options are Black, Silver, Ash, Maroon and Lagoon Blue.

The 2016 Classic 500 would be available in a new Squadron Blue colour, along with the existing colours – Classic Black, Classic Silver and Classic Tan. The 2016 Standard 500 would be offered in a  new Athena Grey colour, in addition to the Black and Forest Green colours.

The MY2016 updates for the Thunderbird range and Continental GT are yet unknown. Royal Enfield is also gearing up to launch its adventure motorcycle – the Himalayan, which is expected to come in the first quarter of this year. Royal Enfield will not be participating in the Auto Expo 2016.
