After the success of the newly launched Jazz, Honda might look to capitalise on the momentum with the introduction of the Jazz RS version. Even thought we are not looking at any power increase, the RS is sure to be more visually appealing.

Honda launched the new Jazz last year and it was very well received. The abundance of space and a diesel option along with the Honda brand make sure that it will give a tuff competition to with competitors. The only downside was that the new Jazz was not as visually attractive as one would expect. Honda plans on rectifying this by the launch of the RS version of the Jazz.

Honda already sells the RS version of the Mobilio in the Indian market and the Jazz RS could be on the similar lines. The upgrades would be only cosmetic and not on the mechanical bits like the engine.

In the international markets, Honda Jazz RS comes with gloss black front grille with chrome plating and an RS badge; projector headlamps with automatic levelling, LED DRLs, chrome door handles, rear spoiler with LED stop lamp and power folding ORVMs. Inside the cabin, the performance model comes with keyless entry, cruise control, start-stop button, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear lever. It will be interesting to see if the car along with what features reach the Indian shores.
