Look for green or blue powder-like substances forming around the terminals as this is a prominent sign of battery damage by corrosion. Cleaning this powder-like substance with a hard-wired brush or a rag will solve the problem and the battery will be able to charge properly.
Human Error
Not closing the glove box properly with a small light in it, leaving the cabin light on, leaving the headlights on after you have parked the car, leaving the AC on, and not closing the boot (light in the boot is left on), all these are human errors can drain your car’s battery.
