First-ever Trimotor

This is going to be one of its kind when it comes to including three motors inside an EV. No other manufacturer has done it so far. Nissan is working on an EV the Leaf that gets a dual-motor. Model 3 from Tesla is the only other EV that comes with a dual-motor system. So what does this mean and why is it so unique. A single motor rear-wheel drive will offer a range of 250 miles (almost 402 km) when fully charged. Its towing capacity is 2402kg and reaches 0to 60 in 6.5 seconds. The dual-motor all-wheel drive delivers a range of 300 miles (almost 483km)with towing capacity of 4536kg and 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds. While the tri-motor four-wheel-drive variant is expected to deliver a range of 500 miles (close to 805km) outstanding towing capacity of 6350kg and unmatched acceleration of 0 to 60 in just 2.9 seconds.

Largest Infotainment System

Tesla cars are also known for having a big touch screen infotainment system. The Model S and Model X already get a 17-inch humungous infotainment system. Here in the Cybertruck, the infotainment system is mounted horizontally and not vertically like the other two cars. The latest software features include the following- Smart Summon – This feature allows you to move the car in and out of parking spaces using your smartphone. For this, you will need a full self-driving model or Autopilot Enhanced to do this. Netflix and YouTube streaming. Full climate control function through the touchscreen. Car-aoke for music lovers with classic tracks with singalong lyrics displayed.

Practical Usage

The Cybertruck is a game-changer when it comes to practicality. The Cybertruck can carry 1588kg of weight. The Cybertruck has 2832 litre of exteriors storage in the under bed, frunk, and sail pillars, all of which are lockable. The Cybertruck (top-end variant with trimotor 4WD) has a towing capacity of 6350 Kg.

Autonomous Driving

Currently, the Cybertruck gets ADAS(Advanced Driver Assistance System) found on other new vehicles. Emergency braking when pedestrians are detected. Intelligent cruise control which maintains a safe distance from other cars ahead of you moving at different speeds. The whole range of new Tesla models is equipped with a custom chip that gives them self-driving capabilities. An extra GBP 5,800 (approximately INR 5,82,100) will be required to install the “Full Self-Driving” (FSD) technology and will also let you benefit from automatic updates to the system over time. Full autonomous driving vehicles are the future that Tesla is looking for.

Color Changing Exterior

If you are worried about spending another fortune on modifications and the color of your choice on your Cybertruck, then just relax. Eon Musk, CEO and Design Chief of Tesla has confirmed the cold-rolled steel body of the Cybertruck could be heated from the outside to get colors of your choice.
