The XUV700 has also scored a five-star safety rating at the Global NCAP testing making it one of the safest SUVs in India. As per recent updates, the waiting period for Mahindra XUV700 has now gone up to nineteen months or a year and a half for some variants. If you decide to book the XUV700 today you would have to wait for almost mid-2023 to get your SUV delivered.

The next car on our list for the highest waiting period is another Mahindra SUV, the Thar. This SUV was launched on 02 October 2020. The car has been popular ever since it was launched. The Mahindra Thar is offered in ten variants with various combinations of petrol and diesel engines, gearbox options, and a choice between a soft-top convertible and a hardtop. The waiting period for this popular SUV is around twelve months.

Hyundai Creta

Kia Seltos

You get to choose between manual,  clutchless manual, automatic torque converter, automatic CVT, and automatic DCT gearboxes. The waiting period for this popular SUV is around six months.

Tata Nexon

Tata Nexon is a very popular SUV in the sub-four metre segment. The Nexon is offered with petrol and diesel engines and options of manual and AMT gearbox to choose from. Tata Nexon has also scored a five-star safety rating at the Global NCAP testing and is one of the safest SUVs in India.  The Tata Nexon is also offered as an electric vehicle. The waiting period for the ICE variant of the Tata NEeon is around three to four months whereas the Nexon EV has a waiting period of around 6 months.
