KTM first launched its bikes in India in January 2012. It’s been a decade and the brand has developed a cult of its own. The bikes are sporty in design and when it comes to performance these bikes never let you down. To keep the popularity up, KTM is planning a slew of launches for India. In this article, we will be discussing the upcoming bikes from KTM in 2022.

KTM RC 390

The KTM390 is a high performance-oriented sports bike that stands true to its design. The new RC390 gets a sharper design and wider fairing that has been optimised for better wind and weather protection. KTM RC390 will be the first amongst these upcoming bikes from the brand to make its way to India. The RC390 is expected to be launched in India in early 2022. The expected price of the KTM RC390 is between Rs 2.80 lakh to Rs 2.90lakh (ex-showroom).

KTM 790 Duke

The KTM 790 Duke was launched in 2019 and previously the CBU route was used to bring this bike to India. The BS6-compliant version of the 790 Duke is under development by KTM India and is expected to launch by April 2022. This bike is powered by a 799cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor that produces 105bhp and 86Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed transmission with bi-directional quick-shifters for clutchless up and downshifts. The KTM 790 Duke is expected to be priced around Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom).

The KTM 890 Duke also known as the ‘Scalpel’ is also expected to make its way to India. This mid-sized street-naked bike gets a sharp design and bold graphics, giving it a mean machine appeal. The BS6-compliant version of the KTM 890 Duke is also under development by KTM India and is expected to launch by mid-2022. This bike is powered by an 889cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor that produces 115bhp & 92Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed transmission with bi-directional quick-shifters for clutchless up and downshifts. The KTM 890 Duke is expected to be priced around Rs 8.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
