Toyota to bring four new cars to India very soon

Toyota has partnered with Maruti Suzuki in India. The brand has been slowly updating its product lineup as it added Glanza and the Urban Cruiser. Maruti Suzuki is working on giving a generation upgrade to their cars. Similarly, Toyota will also be working on bringing in some new updates to their existing products and some new products. In this article, we will discuss four such cars that we think Toyota will bring in 2022.

All-New Toyota Glanza 

Maruti Suzuki is about to launch the new generation Baleno in February. Since Toyota Glanza is based on Maruti Suzuki Baleno, there are very bright chances for Toyota to bring in a new generation of Glanza as well. The all-new Toyota Glanza will have the same exterior design as the Baleno with some subtle changes from Toyota. The all-new Toyota Glanza is expected to get new colors and the top-end variant might also get a dual-tone color.  

All-New Toyota Urban Cruiser 

Recently images of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza new generation had surfaced. Toyota’s Urban Cruiser is based on the Vitara Brezza. We expect Toyota to soon upgrade their Urban Cruiser as well. Once the new generation Vitara Brezza is launched the current generation Urban Cruiser might look outdated and sales might get affected. Toyota might bring in the all-new Urban Cruiser as the next generation of this compact SUV with some minor changes and Toyota badging.

Toyota Ertiga Rebadged version

Toyota is also expected to borrow the Ertiga from Maruti. This MPV will be placed between the Urban Cruiser and the Innova, bridging a huge gap that car buyers had to face while choosing a Toyota product. Toyota might keep the mid-spec and top-spec Ertiga for its lower variants and use the XL6 for its top-of-the-line variants. The XL6 will also help Toyota to bridge the gap between its product lineup.

Toyota Belta

Toyota will be rebadging the Maruti Ciaz as Belta and selling it under their brand. After Toyota Yaris was discontinued, the new sedan, Toyota Belta will be its replacement in India. The Toyota Belta will be similar to Maruti Ciaz but with some minor changes here and there.
