Currently the lifestyle pickup segment in India is ruled by Isuzu V-Cross. With Toyota soon expected to launch its Hilux pickup truck in the country, the segment will gain a new competitor. The Hilux is also equipped with an array of safety & convenience features like Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill Start & Hill Descent controls, and many more.

The Hilux gets a 2.8-litre diesel engine that produces 201bhp & 500Nm of torque mated to a manual & an automatic gearbox. The Hilux is one of the most important and anticipated Toyota cars that we want in India. The Toyota Hilux will be priced between Rs 18 to Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. Recently, Toyota Hilux was spotted in India and is expected to be launched in the first half of 2021.
