Tata Safari is a flagship car from Tata Motors that is placed in the seven-seater premium SUV segment. The SUV is a reincarnated badge from Tata Motors and bears the iconic nameplate. The Safari was launched in February 2021. The Safari has been popular since the day it was launched. The recent Gold edition of the Safari is the most feature-loaded variant of this car. However, there are still some features that Safari misses out on. In this article, we will discuss three features that we expect Tata Safari should get in the near future.

Tata Safari with Petrol Engine

Tata Safari features

Tata Safari is available in twenty variants with eleven variants offered with manual transmission and nine variants with automatic torque converter transmission. But the Safari lacks an option of a powerful petrol engine.  Other SUVs that compete against the Tata Safari do offer a choice between petrol and a diesel engine. Tata Motors is expected to be working on a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. In the coming future, we expect Tata Motors to offer a petrol engine option with either a manual or an automatic gearbox for the Safari.

Tata Safari to get ADAS

Tata Safari features

Recently, cars like MG Astor and XUV700 have started coming equipped with ADAS. Latest technology like ADAS attracts buyers who are tech-savvy and safety conscious. The Safari is feature-loaded but ADAS is one major feature that it lacks. Features like adaptive cruise control, emergency brake assist, automatic emergency brake assist, lane-keeping, and lane centering will make it a great car to drive. Autonomous parking and obstacle avoidance will make parking a car of this size easy in crowded spots of Indian cities. The Safari with level 2 ADAS would boost sales and get more numbers for Tata Motors.

More Features

Tata Safari features

Car buyers look for maximum features in a car while buying that fits within their budget. New cars from other segments come loaded with the latest tech and features. Tata Motors should consider adding some more features to the Safari. Heads-Up-Display unit (HUD)is a feature that is quite useful while driving and could be added to the Tata Safari. A 360-degree camera could be really useful on a car of this size.
