New generation Creta competition SUV to offer 4WD
Hyundai Creta is a popular car in the C-Segment SUV. But the car that created the C-Segment SUV has been around for almost a decade and is still available in India. Yes, you guessed it right. We are talking about the Renault Duster. In this article, we will discuss the new generation Renault Duster and what it could offer in India.
New Generation Renault Duster Design
The new generation Renault Duster is available in foreign markets but has not yet reached India. The SUV gets Y-shaped LED DRLs, updated tail lamps, and LED turn indicators. The front end of the car looks futuristic. The side profile of the new generation Duster remains the same as the previous generation. The rear of the car gets newly designed tail lamps. The Duster now gets newly designed 16 and 17-inch alloy wheels along with a new spoiler. The interior will also get a major update. New upholstery, headrests, and wide armrest are features that will be noticeable. The center console will be raised to make driving more comfortable. An 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system is also expected in the new generation Duster.
New Generation Renault Duster Specifications
The new generation Renault Duster is available in various engine and transmission options abroad. Renault will mostly retain its petrol engine for Duster that will make its way to India. We wish it gets the diesel engines for the Duster but chances are very slim. Renault could also use the 4WD system to regain popularity in the C-segment SUV. Getting a 4WD will make the Duster compete against the best of the best in the segment.
Features
The new generation Duster is expected to be a feature-loaded. Features like automatic climate control, cruise control, a semi-digital instrument cluster, steering mounted controls, a six-speaker music system, on-board navigation system and voice command will be included in the new Duster. Renault could also offer modern features like wireless charging, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay connectivity and a 360-degree parking camera. These features are already offered in the Renault Kiger.
