Citroen C3 Aircross spotted testing

Citroen is one of the newest car manufacturers in the Indian market. It launched the C5 Aircross earlier this year. It has also done a static reveal of the C3 hatchback, which will be launched next year. Other than this, it is working on a sleeve of other products to launch in the Indian market. We have got spy shots images of a Citroen car in testing. This car is the C3 Aircross. In today’s article, we will see this spotted Citroen C3 Aircross. 

What the spy shots reveal.

These spy shots were shared with us by our reader Roshan Purkar. They were clicked on the Mumbai-Agra expressway. The logo’s of the car were covered with camouflage. But it is easy to figure out this is a Citroen car due to the front chrome grille design. The car seems to be the C3 Aircross that Citroen sells outside India. The overall front design of the C3 Aircross is very similar to the revealed C3. It gets halogen headlamps with LED DRLs.  In the side profile, you will see major changes due to the elongated dimensions. The side profile has big wheel arches and roof rails. At the rear, it gets big square-shaped taillamps. Overall the car looks quite simple and classy, barring the big black bumpers and cladding. The model we have spotted seems to be the pre-facelift one. The C3 Aircross received a facelift in 2021 for the European markets. 

What to expect?

There is no official confirmation from Citroen regarding the C3 Aircross. But Citroen might bring it to the Indian market after the launch of C3. The C3 Aircross can cater to people looking for a bigger and more SUV-like car than the normal C3. Citroen might also be just testing parts and components on the C3 Aircross for its future updates.
