The Carens is expected to borrow design elements from the Seltos and Sonet. From the spotted test mule, it is expected to get an aggressive front design. In the side profile, you will get that MPV like elongated design. This elongated look gives it a big and imposing look. The car will get an ample amount of headroom, as seen from the spy shots.

Interior design

It will come loaded with features like a 10.25-inch infotainment system, Bose sound system, tyre pressure monitoring system, heads up display, charging spots in the third row and wireless charging etc. This feature will surely help the Carens to compete with the Ertiga.

The Carens will most likely be based on the K2 platform, which also underpins the Seltos and Sonet. Dimension wise it is expected to be similar to the Ertiga. Kia might offer it similar engine and transmission options as the Sonet. The availability of a diesel engine will be a big plus point for the Carens over the competition.
