Today, Suzuki has launched a new 125cc scooter in India. Suzuki has entered this segment looking at the rising popularity of sporty scooters. The new offering from Suzuki is called ‘Avenis’. In this article, we will discuss what the new Suzuki Avenis has to offer. Let’s begin.
Suzuki Avenis Design and Colours
The Suzuki Avenis is an all-new 125cc scooter from Suzuki with a new design. The front of this scooter resembles slightly with the Burgman Street while continuing the Suzuki design language and giving it a sporty feel. The headlamp is integrated into the front apron with a small visor. The clear lens turn indicators are located on the handlebar cowl. The rear end gets a split brake-tail light setup. This new scooter will be seen in four vibrant colours along with a MotoGP theme-inspired colour coined as the Metallic Triton Blue.
Suzuki Avenis Specifications
The Suzuki Avenis gets a 125cc petrol engine that produces 8.6bhp and 10Nm of torque that comes mated to a CVT gearbox. The fuel consumption figures are not out yet, however since the brand has made fuel efficiency its priority, we can expect similar mileage as we get from the brand’s Access and Burgman Street.
Features
The Suzuki Avenis gets a fully digital dashboard that offers Bluetooth connectivity. Split grab rails at the rear add to its sporty image. The scooter will get LED headlamp and tail light. Under-seat storage is spacious and can be used to store a full-face helmet. USB charging port, external fuel cap for easy refueling and side stand interlock are also included in this new scooter from Suzuki.
Price
Currently, Suzuki has two scooters, Access 125 and Burgman Street. Both these scooters are quite popular and fetch good sales for the brand. The Suzuki Access 125 price starts from Rs 89,615 to Rs 99,846 (on-road, Mumbai). While Burgman Street, starts from Rs 1,02,625 to Rs 1,06,519 (on-road, Mumbai). The Avenis is priced at Rs 86,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
