2022 Mahindra Scorpio spy shots show new features
Mahindra is currently updating its existing SUV lineup. It has updated the XUV700 now it is working on bringing the new-generation Scorpio. The Scorpio is quite a popular car in India due to its rugged looks and various capabilities. The New-generation Scorpio has been spotted several times, revealing a lot of information. In today’s article, we will discuss the spotted 2022 Mahindra Scorpio.
2022 Mahindra Scorpio spotted exterior
Mahindra will give the new-generation Scorpio an aggressive front design. It will get a big grille with Mahindra’s twin-peaked logo in the middle. Other exterior features will include redesigned bumpers, new fog lamps, LED headlamps and a new DRL design. In the side profile, it will get curvy bits giving it a good road presence. At the rear, it will get new taillamps and a tailgate design. The new-generation will also get new alloy wheels and roof rails.
Spotted interior
The interior will get a major update in the new-generation Scorpio. The new-generation will look more premium than the current model. It will get a modern dashboard layout with a big infotainment system in the middle. This infotainment system is flanked by rectangular AC vents on both sides. Other interiors features include a semi-digital instrument cluster and a three-spoke steering wheel.
2022 Mahindra Scorpio Specifications
The New-generation Scorpio is expected to get petrol and diesel engine options. It is expected to get a 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engine and a 2.2-litre mHwak diesel engine. Mahindra will detune the engines to keep the prices down. Both the engine will come with manual and automatic gearbox options. It is also expected to get a mild-hybrid setup.
Features
Mahindra is expected to load the Scorpio with comfort features as it did with the XUV700. It is expected to get features like a basic version of AdrenoX, a 10-inch infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, front parking sensors and a basic version of AdrenoX. Safety features include auto booster headlamps, personalised safety alerts, ABS+EBD and dual airbags.
